Seyievinuo, an established singer, songwriter, influencer, and writer, currently pursuing her Ph.D. as a research scholar in the Department of History and Archaeology at Nagaland University. Seyievinuo Chuzho ► Born on April 26, 1995, Seyievinuo's love with music commenced at a tender age of six, as she embarked on off-stage performances that would later blossom into a lifelong commitment to preserving the cultural treasures of her community. Raised in an environment steeped in tradition, she imbibed the rich customs, tales, and melodies that colored the fabric of her upbringing, nurturing a deep-rooted appreciation for her heritage.
Her academic pursuits paralleled her musical endeavors, as she pursued The Association of Theological Education by Extension (TAFTEE) alongside her college Bachelor’s degree. Later she also served as a vocal coach at the Khuvung School of Music, Kohima. Seyievinuo's journey into academia not only enriched her understanding of history and culture but also fueled her desire to delve deeper into the roots of her community's traditions.
In addition to her musical pursuits, Seyievinuo is a dedicated academic, currently undertaking PhD research in the Department of History and Archaeology at Nagaland University. Her scholarly work complements her artistic endeavors, as she strives to preserve and promote Naga culture through various initiatives. Notably, she founded the SeYie Intrepid folk troupe in 2022, encompassing performers from 16 Naga tribes. This ensemble focuses on documenting and showcasing authentic folk tunes and dances, thereby celebrating the cultural diversity of Nagaland.
In 2023, Seyievinuo's creative spirit took flight once again with the inception of Ethereal Verse, a celebration of the raw power and beauty of male acapella voices. With a keen eye for innovation, she provided a stage for male vocalists to unite, inspiring creativity and pushing the boundaries of musical expression.

The name "Seyie_intrepid" itself, meaning 'The Fearless Nation,' reflects the team's bold and adventurous spirit in preserving and promoting the traditional culture and heritage of the region. With over 140 artists and dancers representing various tribes from Nagaland, the team prides itself on diversity and inclusivity, showcasing the rich tapestry of traditions that make up the cultural landscape of the state.
One of the key missions of Team Seyie_intrepid is preserving the pure folk tunes of Nagaland without any modifications. These traditional melodies and rhythms are not only an integral part of the cultural identity of the Naga people but also serve as a link to their history and heritage. By documenting these folk tunes on each festival, celebration, or event, the team is ensuring that these musical treasures are not lost to time and that future generations can continue to enjoy and appreciate them.
Ethereal Verse is a unique celebration of male a cappella voices, founded by Seyievinuo with a deep passion for musical innovation. Recognizing the need for a dedicated platform where male vocalists could come together, she established this initiative to foster artistic collaboration, inspire creativity, and push the boundaries of vocal expression. By providing a space for singers to showcase their talents, Ethereal Verse not only highlights the richness and versatility of the unique voices but also encourages experimentation with harmonies, vocal techniques, and storytelling through music. Through this platform, Seyievinuo has created a dynamic community where artists can explore new dimensions of a cappella performance, redefining the musical landscape of Nagaland and beyond.

In 2024, the Hornbill Festival marked its 25th anniversary as India's largest and most vibrant celebration of tribal heritage, drawing visitors from around the world to witness the rich cultural traditions, music, dance, and folklore of Nagaland and the wider northeastern region. This landmark edition of the festival was particularly significant as it featured Wales as a designated partner, highlighting a unique cultural exchange between the two regions.
Seyievinuo and Mari Mathias came together for a captivating duet performance at two prestigious events, showcasing their musical synergy and artistic collaboration. Their first performance took place at the renowned Centre Stage Festival at The Piano Man in Delhi, where they mesmerized the audience with their harmonious blend of vocals and stage presence. Following this, the duo continued their collaboration as part of the "Wales in India 2024" initiative at the Hornbill Festival, Kisama, a cultural exchange celebrating the rich musical traditions of both regions.
